Apple announced its most significant event on September 7, 2022. Following a two-year hiatus, this will be the first live event hosted by Apple. The saying "Far Out" appears on Apple's media invitations. The event will begin at 10 AM Pacific Time, or roughly 10.30 PM Indian Standard Time. Live event streaming will be available on Apple's website, official YouTube channel, and Apple TV app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

Apple is anticipated to release four new iPhone 14 models and might finally discontinue the iPhone mini. iPhone 14 "Max" variant may replace iPhone mini. Compared to the 6.1-inch screen of the iPhone 14, the "Max" edition is rumored to have a larger screen size (6.7 inches). The lineup will still include the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
